Karibu (pronounced karibou) means "welcome" in Swahili, and rêve means "dream" in French.
The association was created in July 2011 following an aid project carried out during a trip to Kenya by Anne-F. Baron and her parents, Yvette and Marcel Touffet.
The object is to bring aid to those in need without creating dependence. The actions are carried out in collaboration with the representatives of local communities, the people, the schools and also with the participation of local businesses.
The website "Karibu rêve" presents the association, its actions, projects, contacts and how you can become involved.
